SUPERB FRENCH ANTIQUE FAUX BAMBOO SINGLE DOOR ARMOIRE / BOOKCASE

This superb French antique single door faux bamboo armoire / bookcase was made
in Paris and dates from around 1880. The wood has been given a waxed polished.
In the faux bamboos style there are finials and a galleried top with bamboo decoratiton surrounding
the door which has been fitted with chickenwire.
The interior currently has shelves and has a useful drawer at the base.
The armoire has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course and is in excellent strong and sturdy condition with minor
knocks and bumps in keeping with its age c1880.

It measures 215cm tall x 95cm wide x 46cm deep externally
