STUNNING LARGE FRENCH ANTIQUE HENRI II STYLE OVAL EXTENDING DINING TABLE - c1890

This stunning French antique large extending dining table is in solid oak which has been painted
in base coat of Farrow and Ball 'Strong White', with a wash of 'Pavillion Gray'
the table has been given light distressing and a clear wax finish.
The top has a superbly carved band and rounded oak apron.
With a huge wonderfully carved pedestal base supported ornated carved legs
featuring wonderful carved lions. The legs are complete with castors.
The top extends out to fit more leaves and has extra supporting legs.
The expansion mechanisms all work and each side has a set of drop down legs
for support which is rare to find.
The are 2 leaves to extend this table which are included in this price - more could be made if required.
The table has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks in keeping with its age c1870.

Will Seat 8 - 10 people when extended.

Measures approx. 75cms tall x 113cms long x 130cms wide not extended
2 additional leaves at approx 50cms each leaf. The maximum is approx. 294cms.
