SUPERB ANTIQUE CARVED OAK LARGE DOUBLE / 5FT WIDE BED

This wonderful stylish good quality antique French double bed in the Louis XVI style in solid oak.
The bed is in the 'as found' condition and has a warm patina.
This bed has a shaped head with carved finials and the head and foot and a wonderful decorative crest to the headboard which is remoeable.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course and is in strong and sturdy condition with only minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age - circa 1910.

Will require a custom double mattress - 150cm wide x 190cm long mattress (which we can supply).
External dimensions 165cm wide max x 217cm long x 156cm tall head and 02cm foot.
A custom made fabric covered wooden slatted base can be supplied to fit the bed - please ask for details.
