SUPERB QUALITY FRENCH ANTIQUE LOUIS XV STYLE DOUBLE BED

This beautifully carved and superb quality double Louis XV bed is in its 'as found' condition and has a rich patina.
In walnut with walnut quatered veneer to the head and foot. To the head there is a carved shell
with flowers.
The quality wooden frame has rich patina featuring carved detail and 'escargot' feet.
There is a Paris Makers Mark as shown.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong an sturdy condition with minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Measurements : will require a standard double mattress 135 x 190cm which we can supply.
Height of headboard 147cm tall. Height of footboard 88cm tall.
