BEAUTIFUL OLD FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE DAYBED

This beautifully carved and good quality scroll ended daybed is in its 'as found' excellent condition.
The silk style gold and pink fabric patterned is in good condition but re-upholstery
can easily be done in your choice of fabric - please ask for a quote.
The frame has a wonderful rich patina and has superb carving featuring flowers leaves shells and scrolls.
The sidebars are also carved to match and each has a carved central foot.
The side bar which would face into the room is also upholstered and the bed would look great with
an upholstered base and mattress.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong an sturdy condition with minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Will require a custom small single mattress - 2ft 6" (80cms) x 6ft long (180cms) mattress
- which we can supply.
The external measurements are 90cms wide x 209cms long.
