ANTIQUE FRENCH DECORATED METAL 'LIT DE REPOS' CAST IRON DAYBED c1870

Antique French decorated metal 'lit de repos' daybed is a rare find c1870.
In lovely original 'as found' condition, now naturally distressed with age.
The front features a wonderful cast cherub with cast floral decoration to each side and legs.
In the 'as found' orginal condition and can be repainted in your choice of interior
or exterior paint included in the price.
The bed has a curved roll top and is complete with castors. In strong and sturdy condition with
a few minor knocks and bumps and some minor rust spots in keeping with age c.1870.
Would be ideal for use as a sofa in a conservatory or hallway.
