BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE LOUIS XV CRESTED MIRROR FRAME - c1850

This wonderful French antique mirror frame is c1850 and has a really stylish shape
and decorative crest to the top with beautifully carved, grapes, leave and repeating patterns
surrounding the wood and gesso frame. Originally it had a mercury glass mirror which needs to be replaced.
The mirror frame is in old gold with some of the original gilding work showing through in places.
The gilding has been touched up over the years but it is believed to have water gilding underneath.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps to the frame in keeping with its age and has a wooden back.

Measures 148m tall x 98cm wide
