WONDERFUL SMALL FRENCH ANTIQUE CARVED WOODEN PAINTED AND GILDED MARRIAGE MIRROR - 19TH CENTURY.

A wonderful small French antique Louis XVI gilded marriage mirror dating from
the 19th Century.
This hand carved original gilded wooden frame has a beautiful crest to the top featuring an urn with swags
of flowers and leaves. There are further flowers and foliage winding around the frame.
Painted in a pale grey colour with gilded highlights. The original mirror has some foxing and speckles
mainly to the base and has a panelled wooden back which is stamped 588 on the back.
The frame is in strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks and bumps
in keeping with age.
