DECORATIVE FRENCH ANTIQUE ROCOCO PAINTED CRESTED MIRROR - FOXED GLASS

This decorative French antique mirror has a rococo style crest featuring a shell with flowers
and leaves with raised patterns surrounding the wood and gesso frame. The mirror frame
has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Ammonite', lightly distressed and has be given a clear waxed finish.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps to the frame in keeping with its age.
The original glass has lots of foxing and speckles which gives it a wonderful look.
