WONDERFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE FOXED GOLD MIRROR

This French antique mirror has wonderful decoration around the wood and gesso frame.
Antique large and heavy French overmantel mirror.
The gilding to the frame has faded with time, the ornate plaster work has been knocked and bumped,
the original mercury glass mirror is foxed which all adds to the charm - the over all look of this mirror is beautiful!
With lots of character and in its original as found condition with foxed mercury glass
and its original wooden back.
A solid mirror which could be restored and highly gilded or would be perfect as it is in the right setting.
