SUPERB FRENCH ANTIQUE OVAL CRESTED MIRROR c1890

This superb antique French oval mirror - c1890s features an ornate crest featuring a shell.
With trailing leaves and flowers and scrolls.
There is further decoration surrounding the frame and to the bottom of the mirror with beading surrounding
the original bevelled glass mirror, which is very good condition for its age
with minor speckles and small loss of silvering to the edge which is in keeping with its age.
The gilding to the frame is superb with the red base colour showing through here and there.
The frame is in very good condition with only minor blemishes in keeping with its age.

Measures approx. 103cm tall x 60cm wide x 6cm deep.
