BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE LOUIS XVI STYLE
TRUMEAU MIRROR - LATE 19TH C.
A beautiful French antique trumeau mirror with original bevelled glass dating from the late 19th Century.
To the panel above the mirror is a wonderful carved ribboned bow holding a basket
of flowers with swags of roses and leaves.
With further decoration featuring roundles above the curved top of the mirror and carved flowers
with leaves to the corners and edges of the wood and gesso frame.
Painted in Farrow and Ball 'Lamp Room Gray' with 'All White' highlights,
The original bevelled glass is in very good condition for its age with only minor speckles and slight loss
of silvering to the top and bottom edges of the mirror which is in keeping with age.
The frame is in strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks and bumps.
