WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH PAINTED CRESTED MIRROR - c1900

Wonderful antique French painted crested mirror in off white which has been distressed
to show some of the gilding underneath.
To the top there is a wonderful crest featuring flowers, leaves and scrolls.
The frame has superb carved detail throughout including a raised stylised flower pattern
with decorative corners pieces around the mirror. The frame is constructed of wood and gesso.
Both the frame and the mirror are in good condition with some minor speckles as shown
and minor knocks and bumps in keeping with age.
