HUGE ANTIQUE FRENCH PAINTED MIRROR - BRETON STYLE
Stunning huge antique French mirror dating from around 1900 in the
Breton style.
The wooden frame has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Skimming Stone' on a white base colour and has
been given a distressed finish - can be re-painted in your choice of colour and finish inclusive in the price.
The mirror could be used in a hall or as an overmantle mirror.
There is a superly carved decorative top featuring a breton style wheel. There are two
columns
either side of the original glass mirror which is in excellent condition
with a few minor
speckles as shown. The frame is in strong and sturdy condition with only
a few minor knocks
in keeping with its age. As with all our wooden items we have
treated the frame with a
woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
Height 76 3/4 inches (195cms) tall x 48 1/2 (123cms) wide x 2 1/2 inches (7cms) deep.
