FABULOUS ORIGINAL ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS XVI
PAINTED ARMOIRE

This fabulous decorative French antique armoire is in the Louis XVI style and dates
from around 1890. The armoire is in it's 'as found' painted colour which is a pale grey
and is lightly distressed with age, however, if preferred,
could be re-painted in your choice of colours - please ask for details.
The armoire has some very decorative features including swags of flowers and a beautiful
crest with shell to the top. To the base there is further carving of flowers and
leaves to the sides, legs and featuring a torch and quiver with a ribboned bow to the base.
The interior is fitted with 3 shelves (although not shown in the picture) but could have hanging
rails added from front to back if or more shelving if required.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this is in
keeping with the age of the armoire - c.1890.

Measures Height 257cm to the top of the crest - 225cm at the back . Width 141cm x Depth 54cm
This armoire can have a hanging rail or shelves and can be painted inside if required.
