STUNNING FRENCH ANTIQUE NAPOLEON III PAINTED ARMOIRE / DISPLAY

This stunning quality French antique single Napoleon III style armoire dates from around c.1870.
Painted in Farrow and Ball 'All White' the armoire has been lightly distressed and given clear a wax finish.
This is a wonderful quality armoire with superb detail throughout
featuring a shaped top with wonderfully carved crest with sheiled with leaves and flowers.
There is further decorative carving either side of the original arched bevelled glass door.
The interior is currently with 4 adjustable shelves and could have hanging rails fitted from
front to back inclusive in the price. There is a useful drawer with curved plaque with lock and key to the base.
The armoire has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course and is in excellent strong and sturdy condition with minor
knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

It measures 244cms tall x 116cms wide x 52cms deep externally and 36cms internally
