WONDERFUL QUALITY ANTIQUE FRENCH SINGLE DOOR ARMOIRE - HENRI II STYLE

This wonderful quality French antique single door armoire in the Henri II style dates from around 1900.
In a solid walnut the armoire has been given a soft wax finish.
It has some decorative features including superbly carved removeable pediment with
a crest featuring a shiels and the stylised letters M and S which have been gilded
with leaves and ribbons below.
There are reeded columns either side of the original bevelled glass door. It does also have
two carved finials which fit onto the top on each side which are not shown in these pictures.
The interior is currently fitted with shelves and a drawer and can be fitted with
a shelf with hanging rail from front to back. As with all our
wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this is in keeping with its age c1900.

The external dimensions are height is 244cms x 116cms wide x 51cms deep.
