Wonderful Old French Carved Extending Dining Table

This is a large, wonderful quality, solid oak carved old French extending dining table.
The two leaves draw out to extend neatly.The square patterned top and leaves are constructed
of good quality wood veneer. The table has been given a limed finish, with the detail, edges of
the table and leaves being left in its natural wood and given a waxed finish.
The legs of the table have carved shells, flowers, leaves and scrolls to the front, sides and cabriolle legs
with 'escargot' feet.The table has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of
course and is In excellent strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks in
keeping with its age.

This is one of the larger tables we find in this style and will seat approx 8-12 people.

Measurements 190cm long not extended (328cm extended) x 109.5cm deep x 74cm tall.
The height to the skirt is 59cm.
