Wonderful Old French Carved Buffet Base / Sideboard c.1900

This decorative, antique French buffet / sideboard has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Strong White'',
lightly distressed with a soft wax finish.
In the Henri II style it has superb carved features throughout including a shield with scrolls and flowers
to the panelled doors which have reeded columns either side.
There are two useful drawers above with ornate brass handles.
The interior comprises a cupboard fitted with a shelf.
As with all our wooden items has been woodworm treated as a matter of course.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

This is a versatile and decorative piece of quality antique French furniture which could
be used in the kitchen or dining room.
