Superb French Antique Carved Buffet Base / Sideboard

This superb quality antique French buffet / sideboard has been painted
in Farrow and Ball 'Pavillion Gray' with 'All White' highlights and has been lightly distressed
and given a wax finish. In the Henri II style it has superb carved features throughout
with deeply carved panelled doors featuring baskets of fruit with ribboned bows, leaves and shells.
There are turned, reeded columns to each side.
Comprises a cupboard which is fitted with a shelf with ornate brass lock escutcheon to the doors.
As with all our wooden items has been woodworm treated as a matter of course.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

This is a versatile and decorative piece of quality antique French furniture which could
be used in the kitchen or dining room.

Measurements 110cms wide x 91cms tall x 41cms deep
