Beautiful French Antique Carved Buffet Base / Sideboard

This beautiful antique French buffet / sideboard has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Old White'
with 'Wimborne White' highlights, lightly distressed and given a clear wax finish.
In the Henri II style it has superb carved features throughout with flowers, leaves and scrolls.
to the panelled doors which have reeded columns either side.
Comprises a cupboard which is fitted with a shelf and two useful drawers with ornate metal handles.
The doors are not fitted with a lock but can be held shut with a latch inside the cupboard.
As with all our wooden items has been woodworm treated as a matter of course.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

This is a versatile and decorative piece of quality antique French furniture which could
be used in the kitchen or dining room.
