STUNNING FRENCH ANTIQUE CRESTED
DOUBLE DOOR GLAZED ARMOIRE / WINE STORAGE

This stunning French antique glazed armoire has been adapted to hold wine bottles.
Painted in Farrow and Ball 'Lime White' and given a waxed distressed finish.
With superb carved crest featurign a shell and floral motifs. The shaped double doors have the orignial bevelled glass.
The interior comprises of adjustable shelves to hold wine bottles at a slight forward angle to ensure corks stay damp.
The wine storage could be removed and adjustable shelves / hanging rails from front to back
for use as an armoire this would be included in the price.
With a large and small drawer to the interior and a secret drawer to the base.
As with all our wooden items it has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
There are a few minor knocks in keeping with its age c1900.

This versitile and decorative piece of French furniture could be used as an armoire in a bedroom
or for display or for wine or storage in a kitchen / dining room
or for linen in a bathroom or hallway.

Measures 255cms tall x 138cms wide x 55cms deep (39cms internal depth).
