Superb Old French Carved Buffet Base / Sideboard

This wonderful antique French buffet / sideboard has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'House White',
lightly distressed and given a dark wax finish.
In the Henri II style it has superb carved features throughout with a vase of flowers to the central door with leaves,
and sheilds and scrolls to the outer panelled doors which have fluted turned columns either side.
Comprises a cupboard which will be fitted with a shelf with ornate metal locks.
As with all our wooden items has been woodworm treated as a matter of course.
There are a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.
This is a versatile and decorative piece of quality antique French furniture which could
be used in the kitchen or dining room.
