BEAUTIFULLY CARVED FRENCH ANTIQUE LOUIS XV STYLE DOUBLE BED

This beautifully carved and superb quality double Louis XV bed is in its 'as found' condition and has a
rich patina with now faded gilded hightights to the carved frame.
In walnut with walnut quatered veneer to the head and foot. To the head there is a carved shell
with flowers and to the foot there is a superb raised plaque with carved roses
The heavy solid wooden frame has superb carved featuring carved detail throughout and 'escargot' feet.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong an sturdy condition with minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Measurements : will require a standard double mattress 135 x 190cm which we can supply.
External measurements 156cm wide x 205cm long.
Height of head 161cm. Height of foot 90cm
