BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE PAINTED LOUIS XV ROCOCO STYLE DOUBLE BED c1890

This beautiful, superb quality French antique painted rococo style double bed has been painted
Farrow and Ball 'Lime White' with highlights, lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
With wonderful shaped head and foot board with ornate carving featuring shells with flowers
and leaves to the headboard with a raised carved plaque fwith roses to the foot..
There is further decorative carving to the base and legs with escargot feet.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. The bed is in good, strong and sturdy condition in keeping with its age c1890.

Will require a standard 4 ft 6" x 6ft 3" (135cms x 190cms) double mattress.
Overall width 155cm overall length 202cm.
Headboard 160cm high footboard 91cm high

A custom made wooden slatted base is included.
