BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE PAINTED LOUIS XV ROCOCO STYLE DOUBLE BED c1890

This beautiful quality French antique painted rococo style double bed has been painted
Farrow and Ball 'Purbeck Stone' with 'Wimbornel White' highlights, lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
With wonderful carving to the head feauring a shell with flowers and leaves to the headboard
with a beautiful raised heart shaped carved plaque to the foot board featuring garlands of flowers with ribbons..
There is further decorative carving to the to the legs and side bars with escargot feet.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. The bed is in good, strong and sturdy condition in keeping with its age c1890.

Will require a standard 4 ft 6" x 6ft 3" (135cms x 190cms) double mattress.
Overall width 152cm overall length 205cm. Headboard 153cm high footboard 96cm high

A custom made wooden slatted base is included.
