WONDERFUL OLD FRENCH SMALL SINGLE LOUIS XVI STYLE BED - c1900

This wonderful French antique single capitone daybed is in the Louis XVI style dating
from around 1900 and in its as found orignal grey and pale green painted frame which
is now lighly distressed with age and could be re-painted if required - please ask for details.
There is superb carved decoration to the frame with carved finials to the headboard and
stylised flowers to each corner and has a low foot end which is ideal for a small room.
The bed is ready to be uphostered in a fabric of your choice - please ask for a competitive quote.
The bed has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course and is in strong
and sturdy condition with just a few very minor knocks and bumps in keeping age.

The ideal custom size mattress would be 83cm wide x 183cm long which would sit within the bed frame.
However the bed could be made to take a standard single base and mattress directly on the sidebars.

The external dimensions are as follows: Width 90cm wide x 192cm long
Headboard 78cm x footboard 21cm tall
