WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH LARGE SINGLE LOUIS XVI STYLE CANE BED - c1900 - WITH LOW FOOT END

This wonderful French antique single cane bed is in the Louis XVI style dating
from around 1900 and in its as found orignal pale cream painted frame which is now lighly distressed
with age and could be re-painted if required - please ask for details.
There is superb repeating carved decoration surrounding the frame, siderails and legs with wonderful carved finials
to the headboard and footboard with stylised flowers to each corner.
The bed has a low foot end which is ideal for a small room.
The bed has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course and is in strong
and sturdy condition with just a few very minor knocks and bumps in keeping age.

The ideal mattress would be a large single (3ft 3cms) 100cm wide x (6ft 3) 190cm long which would
sit within the bed frame - which we can supply.
The external dimensions are as follows: Width 114cm wide x 206cm long Headboard 96cm x footboard 28cm tall
