WONDERFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE DIRECTOIRE SINGLE LOUIS XVI DAYBED - c. early 1800s

This wonderful French antique single Louis XVI bed dating from around the early 1800s
and in its as found orignal pale grey painted frame which is now lighly distressed with age.
There is repeating carved decoration surrounding the frame, siderails and legs with wonderful carved finials
to the headboard and footboard with stylised flowers to each corner.
The bed has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course and is in strong
and sturdy condition with just a few very minor knocks and bumps in keeping age c.1900.

Will require a standard single mattress 90cm x 190cm (3ft x 6ft 3) which we can supply.
The Height of both the head and foot are 94cm x Width overall 101cm x Length overall 205cm

A custom made wooden slatted base is included.
