ANTIQUE FRENCH ROCOCO STYLE UPHOLSTERED DOUBLE BED

This wonderful quality antique French bed in the rococo style dates from around 1900.
It has a stylish shaped frame with has rich patina and superb carved features including shell to the head.
There is also decorative carving to the legs, curved side rails and 'escargot' feet.
The bed is upholstered in a tapestry style fabric which is in very good condition and
could easily be re-upholstered in your choice of fabric at very competitive rates. .
As with all our wooden items has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong an sturdy condition with minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

The bed will take standard 4ft 6" wide x 6ft 3" long mattress (135 x 190).
External measurements: 66 1/2" (169cms) wide x 81 1/2" 205cms long.
Headboard 63 1/2" (161cms) tall. Footboard 37 inches (94cms) tall.
 
The bedding, base and mattress are not included in the price.However we are now stocking
a range of bedlinen and can supply a custom made base and a competitively priced
quality branded mattress can be supplied at no extra delivery cost within
