SUPERB OLD FRENCH PROVENÇAL STYLE 5FT WIDE BED

This superb old French painted 5ft wide bed is in excellent condition for its age c1920s.
Made of solid oak, the bed has been prepared and painted using Farrow and Ball 'All White' with
'Old White' highlights, lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
Can be bespoke finished in your choice of colours and level of distressing / waxing inclusive in the price.
There is a superb carved basket of flowers to the head, with leaves and a shell carved to the foot.
the legs have 'escargot' feet and there are shaped side rails.
As with all our wooden items it has been treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. In excellent strong and sturdy condition
with just a few very minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Will require a custom 5ft wide x 6ft 3inches long mattress (150 x 190cms).
Alternatively we can extend the bed to be 5ft x 6ft 6 inches long.
Overall width 59" (150cms) x overall length 78" (198cms).
The height of the head is 49 1/2" "(128cms). The height of the foot is 30 1/2" (78cms).

The mattress and base shown are not included in the price. We are now stocking a range of bedlinen.
