This handsome very good quality antique French chest of drawers is in the Louis Philippe style.
and has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Purbeck Stone,' lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
It.is a well proportioned, simply styled piece with 4 panelled drawers, each drawer is lockable
and smooth running with ornate metal lock escutcheons
This item has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.
