Decorative Antique Breton Cupboard & Open Base c1890

A very decorative carved antique Breton cupboard in solid chestnut and pine.
Heavily carved in relief, there is a typical Breton scene with male and female figures
in a garden, dressed in the fashion of the day. The carved decoration around the
open base includes the face of a small winged cherub. The interior of the cupboard contains
one central shelf and has a decorative excutcheon and working lock and key.
.As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as
a matter of course. There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this
is in keeping with the age c.1890.

External Dimensions 100cms tall x 75cms wide x 47 deep.
