VINTAGE FRENCH MARQUETRY INLAID 'BOMBE' LXV STYLE CHEST OF DRAWERS

This wonderful vintage French 'bombe' chest of drawers has inlaid marquetry veneers
in differnt woods with a stunning effect on a walnut veneer background.
With ormalu mounts to the corners with a shell to the base and tips of the front feet.
It comprises one large drawer and 3 smaller ones above.
The top has been replaced at some point in the past with wood.
The beautiful floral marquetry patterns are in superb condition with just a few small pieces missing.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as
a matter of course. There are some knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

It measures 75.5cms tall i x 88cms wide x 45cms deep
