WONDERFUL ANTIQUE CARVED WOODEN FRENCH ROCOCO STYLE CIEL DE LIT / BED CANOPY c.1900

This is a very pretty French antique ciel de lit / bed canopy to hang drapes above a bed dates from c.1900.
Carved from solid wood featuring a fabulous rococo style shell to the front.
Painted in Farrow and Ball 'Off White' with gilding wax highlights and a dark wax finish.
As with all our wooden items it has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In superb condition with just minor knocks and bumps in keeping with age.

10cms tall x 44cms deep x 45cms wide.
