WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH COUNTRY COMTOISE CLOCK c1900

Wonderful old French country comptoise clock dating from c1900,
With handpainted flowers and scrolls to the wooden case. With a superb ornamental pressed brass pendulum
and signed surround around the clock face featuring flowers and leaves.
The enamel face is in very good condition with days as well as the hours.
The mechanism appears clean and complete, though we have not tried to get it to work feel
confident that it would take only a small amount of work to do so and has the cast iron weights.
The wonderful handpainted case is in good condition with some loss of paint
and minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.
There are some old woodworm holes - long since gone and the case has been fully treated
with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.

It measures 233cms tall x 50 cms wide x 21.5cms deep.
