LOVELY ANTIQUE FRENCH MARRIAGE DOME

This is a truly lovely example of an antique French Marriage Dome, which would have
been presented to a bride and groom on their wedding day around 1900.
It has a profusion of ceramic flowers, on a frame of gilded brass leaves. There are bevelled
edged mirrors and at the top a gilded bird with laurel leaf, from which hang a braid from
the brides hair and her waxed flowerbud tiara has been placed onto the red velvet cushion as a memento.
The original glass dome is in perfect condition as is the black wooden base on which it stands.
