ANTIQUE FRENCH COUNTRY COMTOISE CLOCK c1900

This super antique French rustic comtoise clock dating from around 1900 has a wooden case which
has been given a varnish finish with handpainted leaves, scrolls and ears of corn.
The enamel face has decorative hands and numbers. The brass pendulum is in very good condition.
The mechanism appears clean and complete, it has its original winding key and though we have not tried to
get it to work feel confident that it would take only a small amount of work to do so and has the cast iron weights.
The case has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.

It measures 45 cm wide x 21 cm deep x 233cm tall.
