WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH MARRIAGE DOME

This wonderful antique French Marriage Dome, which would have
been presented to a bride and groom on their wedding day around 1900.
. Featuring a gilded metal frame holding an upright red velvet cushion with brass
flower buttons on which would sit momentos of the day including waxed flower buds from the brides tiara.
Surrounded by gilded toleware leaves and birds with white ceramic flowers.
The original glass dome is in superb condition as is the black wooden base on which it stands.

Measurements 41cm tall x 35cm wide x 22cm deep.
